Procedure Details

24 year old patient came to Dr. Mountcastle's office with a large mass on his shin that has been growing for a while and at times bleeds. This is a classic pyogenic granuloma and the best form of treatment is to remove the mass which will also prevent it from coming back. He can also use silver nitrate after to burn the remaining tissue to ensure all of the granuloma tissue is gone. Patient is very happy to no longer have this bothersome mass on his shin.
