Squamous Cell Carcinoma*

64 year old patient came to Dr. Mountcastle with a possible infected finger nail. Dr. Mountcastle treated the infection and send off to pathology when then came back as squamous cell carcinoma. Dr.Mountcastle recommended her to a dermatologist where they would preform mohs surgery that ensures they got all of the cancer out. The patient then came to Dr. Mountcastle for the closure and 5 months later the patient's thumb is completely healed minus a little bit of swelling that can take months to even years get back to normal.
